The Global Hospital & Research Centre (GHRC), Mt Abu, Rajasthan, India started seeing its first patients in October 1991. Australians have been supporting the work of GHRC since then. Australian Friends for Global Hospital (AF4GH) was established in May 2017 by friends and supporters of GHRC to further support its work.

AF4GH is registered as an association in the state of NSW and Registered with the Australian Charity and Not For Profit Commission (ACNC).

AF4GH is run by Advisory Committee which meets monthly. So far we have funded the following projects: 

🔴 2018/19 Review of GHRC Community Service Projects.

🔴 2020 Blood Cell Counter Machine.

🔴 2020  “Patient Care Fund” for the treatment of economically disadvantaged patients referred from the GHRC’s Community Service Project (CSP).

🔴 2021 an ICU and 4WD Ambulance.

🔴 2022 Eye Surgery equipment.

🔴 2022 a new mobile outreach clinic for the Community Service Program.

🔴 2023/24 the operating costs of the CSP mobile clinic.
