In February 2021, we virtually inaugurated a new Blood Cell Counter that we purchased for Global Hospital and Research Centre to replace an older machine that supersedes both function and efficiency of the previous older machine.
In August 2021, AF4GH funded the purchase of two ambulances - 1) an Intensive Care ambulance at GHRC Mt. Abu and 2) a 4WD ambulance at RM Mehrotra Global Hospital Trauma Centre in Abu Rd. AF4GH participated in the inauguration online.
In June 2022, AF4GH funded the purchase of much needed eye surgery equipment (phaco machine and a Yag laser) for Sri Adinath Fateh Global Eye hospital in Jalore, which is managed by the GHRC hospital trust. The equipment enables more efficient, cataract, and more complex eye surgeries. AF4GH also participated in the inauguration online.
The Patient Care Fund supports patients (mothers and children) who may need hospitalisation and who lack funding for inpatient care. Patients are referred from the GHRC’s Community Service Project (CSP) - mobile clinic "on-wheels".
In 2022, AF4GH supported the purchase of an additional mobile clinic van for the Community Service Program enabling 30 villages access to healthcare services. The mobile clinic was inaugurated on 1 Jan 2023.
Since Jan 2023, AF4GH has supported the ongoing operational costs of the Community Service Program Mobile Clinic, including staff salaries, vehicle costs, and medicines.
